01What do I need to send you?+
Start with the recipient’s name, the occasion, up to 16 favorite photos for a Birthday or Anniversary Story, and any message or memories you want included. Your thoughts can be rough—we organize them into the story.
02How long does it take?+
Birthday and Anniversary Stories have a 3-business-day first-preview target. Custom Stories have a 7-business-day target. Timing begins after payment and all usable content have been received.
03Can I request changes?+
Yes. Birthday and Anniversary Stories include one consolidated revision round; Custom Stories include two. A round covers reasonable text, caption, photo, and ordering changes—not a new concept, template, or section. Our own errors are always corrected without using your revision.
04How long will the link stay online?+
Three years of DearEver hosting are included from publication. We do not promise lifetime hosting. Before the included term ends, we will offer an extension and provide at least 60 days’ notice before any planned removal.
05Do I pay in advance?+
Birthday and Anniversary Stories are paid in full before work begins. Custom Stories use a 50% booking deposit, with the remaining 50% due after preview approval and before publication.
06Will it work on phones?+
Yes. Every DearEver story is designed for phones, tablets, and desktop screens, with touch-friendly interactions throughout.
07Is the story private, and does the recipient need an app?+
No app is needed. The recipient opens an unlisted DearEver link in their browser. The link is not advertised or indexed, but anyone it is shared with can open it; password protection is not part of Version 1.
08Can I use my own domain?+
Version 1 stories use a DearEver link. Customer-owned domains are planned for a future version and are not currently included.
